The Council.
Council Membership/Constitution
The Council was established under the EAIC treaty and ratified by the partner states in the year 2010 for the sole
purposes of creating partnerships and collaborations of all countries represented. Under the sync and supervision of
the various laws governing these countries.
The Council is headed by a Secretariat led by commissioners and a chairperson elected by the partner state
representing member state countries under the partnerships and agreements treaty. The Council has a staffing
population of over 500 Employees cutting across partner states.

Success Stories
Commission Chairperson Commissioner DR Annald Nyasinga Ongwenyi Presents the first bi annual report on the progress of the common treaties in Arusha .DR Ongwenyi assured all the partner states including the Heads of State on the need and support from the European Union to support development programs hence the council had secured 10 Billion from donor funding to support it's operations for the financial year 2023/2024.

Launch of the East Africa Intergovernmental Training Institute by the Council Commissioners led
by Dr Annald Nyasinga Ongwenyi of the Republic of Kenya. The Institute is to be Constructed in
Phases beginning the financial year 2024 and its completion date is expected to be December
2027.
